Hello everyone,

I want to run SeaTable on my Ubuntu VPS (Hostinger) using Docker Compose – alongside n8n (which works flawlessly), and Traefik is also available. The goal is free use in a private environment, as described on [seatable.io](http://seatable.io) and in the documentation for the Community Edition.

I followed all available official sources and guides.
I did the following:

1. Removed old files
Completely removed all previous attempts and data, old containers, images, and volumes.

2. Reinstalled (step by step)
Created a new folder (/root/seatable-admin)

Tested the currently recommended Docker Compose files (from the documentation, forum, and Hostinger support).

1. Tested the following images:
a) seatable/seatable-enterprise:latest
Container starts, but it displays:
Missing SeaTable License!

No access to the web interface possible without a license key.

b) seatable/seatable-developer:latest
Container starts, but always hangs after “Start init”.

No web UI, no errors in the log other than the familiar “init” lines.

The problem is reproducible (and, according to internet research, has been a common issue on various systems for months).

c) seatable/seatable-community:latest
The image no longer exists on Docker Hub (Pull failed: repository does not exist).

Also not found via any official guides or documentation links.

1. Config details:
Docker Compose and .env correctly maintained according to the instructions (keys, passwords, hostnames, ports, etc. adjusted everywhere).

All data and volumes removed before each attempt.

Tried several browsers and also direct IP, always identical results.

n8n and Traefik run perfectly – so Docker is working.

1. What is my goal?
I would like to run the free Community Edition (“C-Table”) on my own server via Docker, as described in the official SeaTable documentation – without a license requirement and without enterprise limits, as was previously possible with seatable/seatable-dev or “community.”

My questions:
Where can I currently find a working, official image for the Community Edition?

Is the free self-hosted setup (Docker) still possible – or is it deliberately no longer offered?

Is there a current workaround or other method for what I need (Docker, no cloud service, no enterprise)?

Thanks for your help – and feel free to ask if you need further information.

Best regards

Please see here: [SeaTable Server - SeaTable Admin Manual](https://admin.seatable.com/installation/basic-setup/#4-get-a-license)

Key is this phrase: “SeaTable Enterprise requires a license to start.”

Please follow the instructions at [SeaTable Server - SeaTable Admin Manual](https://admin.seatable.com/installation/basic-setup/). Make sure you follow the instructions for SeaTable Server Developer Edition in step 3.

What internet search is that? I’d argue that this forum is the natural place to seek help when running into issues during the installation. I am not aware of this being “a common issue on various systems for months.”
