I keep getting the permission denied error on my seatable even after logging in as an administrator. Mind you i am the only admin. Also whenever i try to make any changes it makes me log in again despite me being the root admin. Kindly assist me with a solution
- What are you trying to do? SSH-access, web-access, api-requests???
- what is the version of your SeaTable Server?
- are there any logs?
- any changes you did before?
- did you try to reset your admin password via the command line?
No idea how you expect somebody to help you with such limited information…
I suggest you provide more information:
-
Are you using the SeaTable Cloud service or a self-hosted SeaTable Server?
-
Have you tried logging out and logging in again?
-
If the problem persists, please open the Chrome Debug Console (F12), go to the “Network” tab, and check if there are any failed requests or specific error messages when the “Permission Denied” error occurs.
Am using a self hosted instance. I have tried logging in and out again but to no avail. I have also tried number three to no avail.
@tebomorriz is this a fresh install, or did this appear suddenly, while it was working OK before? Or did you upgrade? This information is all-important, and was asked by @cdb already (his bullet point 4).
Also, when you tried @daniel.pan 's #3 suggestion, did you get any other errors in the browser’s development console? Not only on the network tab, but also on the console tab. Typical: MIxed content HTTP vs. HTTPS errors / warnings.
Problem fixed? Or did you give up?
