Here is a summary for everybody about the current status:
SeaTable Rework App
- Currently I only have control over my “Rework”. This is the public link to that app: https://www.make.com/en/hq/app-invitation/9f540612d98414ee083db4b65733d93d . In this app everything should work. If something does not work, I fix it immediately.
- I fixed in this app all issues from this forum discussion and can tell you that I invested a lot of time in providing a good working app.
- BUT: this is not a public available App. You have to use the invite link.
Produktion App
The current available app is working quite ok and received some updates by the developers. Still I would not recommend this app for three reasons:
- I have no access to the source code and can not update or change anything.
- some things were badly implemented and are more complex as they should be.
- I have the feeling the app includes to much logic like, that it is not necessary. Like: after creating a row, a second api request is done automatically (hidden) to make the output look nicer. In my understanding this is bad: it requires two instead of one api request and the output now differs from https://api.seatable.io. For me the make.com should reflect the current SeaTable API and nothing fancy on top.
