Adding text values consistently

Newbie here, so please forgive ignorance.

I’m using a very simple Seatable base to record details of the people I give assistance to as a library Computer Buddy. I often see the same people on more than one occasion, and I’m looking for Seatable to suggest values when I start entering their name so that I can group records together by name. In the same way that MS Excel does!. So if I already have records relating to John Smith and John Brown [this is not separated intro First Name and Last Name, but that’s OK], with I start typing ‘John B’, Seatable suggests John Brown.

Suggestions, please. And thanks in advance.

Use a separate table for your contact persons and “link” them to your assistance sessions. Then you have auto completion in the link column.

In fact I did work it out, thanks to the excellent online manual.
