AI to build HTML page in universal app

One of the features Teable has launched is the ability to create apps with AI. Their create apps function is very similar to Seatable, but a bit more functional at the moment because their AI agent actually handles all the technical functional integration.

So for example, I asked it to build me a gantt chart based on a projects table. It was able to do this in 10 minutes and the gantt even auto updates when I change timelines in the table. With it I can create a dual page view in one screen where when I select a project I see a detailed table with related tasks, without having to click to another page.

I tried to make this myself with Seatable using a third party AI asking to to program the HTML code, but I can’t get it to run properly in Seatable cloud due to improper configuration - but I also can’t see where the error may be appearing.

I think the next stage of nocode/lowcode DB apps continues to be no-code with augmentation through agentic AI. Is Seatable planning to add agentic AI to build applications through the HTML universal app feature anytime soon?

Thanks for the feedback — we’re planning to add AI page generation in a future version. (It is finished internally, we are still testing it.)

For this specific case, could you share a bit more information so we can better understand the issue?

  • What HTML code or AI-generated content are you trying to run?

  • What exactly happens in SeaTable Cloud when you try it?

  • Do you see any error message in the browser console or on the page?

If possible, please also include a minimal reproducible example so we can investigate further.
