For some reason the alphabetical ordering within the App is case sensitive when you sort it via the page settings of the view. If you sort it via the filter option it is not case sensitive, not in the App and not in the Base.

I could reproduce the issue. But it is a little different than you are saying.
As shown in the screenshot below, the sorting logic in thebase is identical to the sorting logic the user facing sort function uses.
The preset sorting functions leads to a different order:
that is actually what I was trying to describe, thanks for making it clearer. It would be great if the logic would be the same everywhere, so it does not cause confusion between people working in bases vs apps.
Do it like thousands of other people who have used SeaTable to develop powerful processes and get their ideas and tasks done more efficiently.
