App not hiding preset hidden columns in calendar

Hope someone knows how to get around this. In universal app in the calendar view I have tasks of staff members displayed based on starting and end time. This works however when trying to hide preset hidden columns it does not apply.

Any guesses why? My only inkling is that it might be due to the task being a link record but not sure why this would be.

This is a known functional limitation that will be fixed in the future.

On calendar pages, hiding a column in the “preset hidden columns” hides the values in the row details, but not the field names.

Quick update on this issue: In SeaTable 5.3, the new version released today, column values as well as column names are hidden in the row details when you hide a column in the data settings.

In the screenshot below, you see in the background on the left that 40+ columns are preset hidden. The row details only show three columns.
