Feature Requests: Requires that a field must NOT be empty

Describe the Problem/Error/Question:

It would be nice to have an option “This field CANNOT be empty”.

I think sometimes it’s useful to set a field as non-empty to make sure users don’t forget to enter essential things like date or price. Note that for me, “blank space” is not accepted and that should also be considered as “empty”.
