How to get distinct values of a categorical or numerical column?

I have column with value 1,1,1,1,2,2,2,2,3,3,3,3 now I want to know distinct value of this here the answer will be 3. But in advance statistics plugin it is showing empty like this.

How can I get distinct value count of this column. Anyone please help?

I concur. All “summary methods” work on a chart of type “card” except the “Number of distinct values”
