As far as I tested, I encountered two limitations using this automation that makes it not really ready for production use (once again, please keep in mind that this plugin is still in beta version although really promising in my opinion):
- you can choose the file name of the file to produce, but this name doesn’t take into account column names (if you enter {Name}-report in the field so that the name should refer to the Name column, your file will actually be named “{Name}-report.pdf”
- there’s almost the same problem with the recipient field if you check send email: you can only type a fixed email address but not refer to a field
- whereas my report test correctly shows the actual data for each column fields inserted while looking at it in the report plugin, the automatically generated version didn’t retrieve the data and just contains null in place of each field
Can someone confirm these behaviours ?
