My Setup:
- SeaTable Enterprise Edition
- SeaTable Version 6.1.8
Problem:
I have noticed that when restoring a deleted database, although tables, columns, rows, views and links are restored, the web forms are missing.
Looking at the documentation I found that snapshots explicitly do not include web forms, automations, apps or comments. However, the help articles for restoring a deleted base from the trash do not state which components are excluded.
My questions:
-
Is it expected behaviour that web forms are not restored when a deleted base is recovered from the trash, or is this a bug?
-
If web forms are deliberately excluded: is this documented anywhere, and is it planned to include them in a future version?
-
Are the web forms still stored server-side somewhere (since they have their own URLs / IDs) and is there a way for the SeaTable team to recover them on request?
Thanks in advance for any clarification.
Best wishes,
Alex
