I had a great time meeting other users and developers, chatting about all sorts of projects and presenting our organizations’ use cases. The discussions on the latest developments were interesting and it was cool to hear everyone’s ideas. Definitely worth the trip.
Hoping we can make it back to Mainz this October for another round!
I’d like to give you an update regarding SeaDays 2025. Unfortunately, we’ve had to make the tough decision to cancel this year’s event. This wasn’t easy for us, but there are two main reasons behind it:
Jonathan and Daniel, who were key to the program, had to step back on short notice due to (positive) personal circumstances.
Registrations so far have been quite low, and it became clear that we wouldn’t be able to fill the agenda with enough community contributions.
Even though the event can’t take place this year, we don’t want you to miss out on the content we had in mind. We’ll be sharing presentations and videos (on SeaDays 2025 - Seafile and SeaTable Community-Workshop) on topics such as:
Seafile 13 and the new Extensible Metadata
AI automations with SeaTable
Customizing the Seafile Clients
A follow-up on 2023 presentation: “Is Chinese Software an Operational Risk?”
And most importantly: SeaDays will be back in 2026! This cancellation only affects this year; our long-term plans remain unchanged, and we’re looking forward to relaunching the community event next year.
Thanks a lot for your understanding and support. We hope to see many of you at SeaDays 2026!
